NEIGHBORHOOD
The Missori district of Milan is one of the most central and historical areas of the city, located a short distance from the Duomo and other iconic attractions. Characterized by a mix of historic elegance and modern atmospheres, Missori is the ideal starting point for exploring Milan, with its main streets connecting the center to areas of cultural, artistic and commercial interest.

At the center of Piazza Missori is the evocative Church of San Giovanni in Conca, whose ruins represent the only visible example of a Romanesque crypt in Milan. This church dates back to the 4th century and is now a fascinating archaeological site, witness to the ancient history of the city.

From Missori, in a few minutes you can reach the symbol of Milan: the Duomo. With its Gothic spires, it is one of the most visited monuments in Italy. Next door is the splendid Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the living room of Milan, famous for its luxury boutiques, historic cafes and restaurants.

Continuing towards the Duomo, the Palazzo Reale hosts important temporary exhibitions of international artists. Next door, the Museo del Novecento houses a vast collection of modern and contemporary art, with masterpieces by artists such as Fontana, Boccioni and De Chirico.

Via Torino is one of Milan’s main shopping streets, perfect for shopping, with a mix of international chains and local boutiques. Continuing, Corso di Porta Ticinese leads to the historic Navigli area, passing by the columns of San Lorenzo, an ancient Roman structure that represents one of the most evocative corners of Milan.

A few minutes from Missori is Piazza degli Affari, home to the Italian Stock Exchange. The square is famous for Maurizio Cattelan’s provocative sculpture, known as L.O.V.E. or the Finger, which represents an irreverent gesture towards finance and has become one of Milan’s most photographed attractions.

From Missori, you can easily reach the Teatro alla Scala, one of the most important opera houses in the world, and the Quadrilatero della Moda area (Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Corso Venezia), which represents the heart of luxury shopping with the boutiques of the greatest Italian and international designers.

The Navigli are a few steps from Missori and represent one of the most fascinating and lively areas of Milan. The area, with its canals, is famous for its nightlife, restaurants and art galleries, and is an ideal place for an evening stroll along the waters of the Darsena.

Missori is a neighborhood that offers total immersion in Milanese culture, thanks to its central location and proximity to the main places of interest. Living or staying here allows you to fully enjoy the charm of Milan, among historical monuments, shops, restaurants and an extremely efficient public transport network that easily connects with every point of the city.
